■Detailed Description
●Uses a shared right crankcase cover
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is painted silver.
The right crankcase cover is designed to be used with both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a dry clutch, you can change the specification to a special clutch (wet type).
*Specification changes require the separate purchase of parts specified by SP Takegawa.
●Aluminum machined clutch cover (hydraulic type)
The cover is made of machined aluminum with a clear anodized finish.
A new shape is adopted for the bleeder valve part and hose fitting mounting part, and multiple ventilation holes are arranged to enhance the cooling effect.
Furthermore, to improve clutch operation, the diameter of the release piston has been enlarged from the conventional φ29.5 to φ33, making the clutch lever operation lighter.
Optional parts: A soundproof rubber cap that reduces the noise unique to dry clutches can be installed.
●Built-in oil element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear powder in the oil.
By removing impurities in the oil, engine output can be maintained.
The oil element uses a highly reliable cartridge-type paper type.
●With oil level check window
The oil level can be checked.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Adopts a large oil filler cap
Made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated finish.
By enlarging the oil filler opening, oil changes can be performed easily.
●Change of clutch unit
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in a lighter throttle response.
●6-disc specification
Compared to conventional products, downsizing has been achieved, and the rotating mass weight has been reduced by approximately 12%. Six friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, making it compatible with high-power engines.
●Slipper clutch mechanism
The slipper clutch reduces the sudden engine braking shock caused by downshifting at high RPMs.
This can reduce sudden changes in posture, rear tire hopping, and engine load.
A special pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch section, and the back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transmitted to the clutch cam. The cam of the pressure plate and the clutch cam operate, pushing down the pressure plate to create a semi-clutch state, releasing the back torque.
●Primary driven gear
Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock from gears when the clutch is engaged.
●Lifter plate
The standard specification uses an aluminum machined lifter plate.
●Clutch spring
Excellent fatigue resistance and stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-speed cross mission kit (Super Street 5-speed)
This is a cross mission that can effectively use the power band.
●TAF 5-speed cross mission kit (return type)
While retaining the excellent features of the existing SP Takegawa 5-speed cross mission, durability and operability have been further improved.
By adopting a shift fork with special surface treatment and ensuring tooth width to match the shorter stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gear (dog part) adopts the same tapered shape at the engaging part as conventional products, improving shift feel and preventing malfunctions such as gear slippage.
R. crankcase cover gasket and crankcase gasket, which are required for assembly, are included.
