■Detailed Description
●Common Right Crankcase Cover Adopted
The right crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum.
The cover surface is silver painted.
The right crankcase cover shape can be used for both wet and dry clutches.
Even after purchasing a dry clutch, you can change the specification to a special clutch (wet type).
*Specification changes require the separate purchase of SP Takegawa specified parts.
●Aluminum Billet Clutch Cover (Hydraulic Type)
The cover is made of aluminum billet with a clear anodized finish.
A new shape is adopted for the bleeder valve part and hose fitting mounting part, and multiple ventilation holes are arranged to enhance the cooling effect.
Furthermore, to improve clutch operation, the release piston diameter has been expanded from the conventional φ29.5 to φ33, making clutch lever operation lighter.
Optional part: A soundproof rubber cap to reduce the noise characteristic of dry clutches can be installed.
●Built-in Oil Element
Filters impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil.
By removing impurities in the oil, engine output can be maintained.
The oil element adopts a reliable cartridge-type paper type.
●With Oil Level Check Window
The oil level can be checked.
Durable glass is used for the engine oil check window.
●Large Oil Filler Cap Adopted
Die-cast aluminum with chrome plating.
Enlarging the oil filler port makes oil changes easier.
●Clutch Unit Change
By changing from the normal crankshaft (primary side) to the mission main shaft (secondary side), the load on the crankshaft is reduced, and the crankshaft axis can be lightened, resulting in light throttle response.
●6-Disc Specification
Compared to conventional products, downsizing has been achieved, reducing rotational mass by approximately 12%. Six friction discs are used, achieving a 6-disc configuration.
This increases the clutch capacity by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, supporting high-power engines.
●Slipper Clutch Mechanism
The slipper clutch reduces the sudden engine braking shock caused by downshifting at high RPMs. This reduces sudden changes in posture, rear tire hopping, and engine load.
A dedicated pressure plate and clutch cam are provided in the clutch part. The back torque transmitted from the rear wheel is transmitted to the clutch cam, and the cam of the pressure plate and the clutch cam operate, pushing down the pressure plate to create a semi-clutch state, releasing the back torque.
●Primary Driven Gear
Built-in rubber damper to reduce shock to gears during clutch engagement.
●Lifter Plate
The standard specification adopts an aluminum billet lifter plate.
●Clutch Spring
Excellent fatigue resistance and stable clutch feel.
●TAF 5-Speed Cross Mission Kit (S-Touring 5-Speed)
This cross mission allows effective use of the power band.
●TAF 5-Speed Cross Mission Kit (Return Type)
While retaining the advantages of SP Takegawa's existing 5-speed cross mission, durability and operability have been further improved.
By adopting a shift fork with special surface treatment and ensuring tooth width to match the shorter stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gear (dog part) uses the same tapered shape of the engaging part as conventional products, improving shifting feel and enhancing the effect of preventing malfunctions such as gear slippage.
R. crankcase cover gasket and crankcase gasket, which are required for assembly, are included.
