TAF 5-speed Close-Ratio Super Street Transmission Kit for Monkey (FI)

The "TAF 5-speed close-ratio transmission kit" further improves the durability and operability of the existing Takegawa 5-speed close-ratio transmission. By adopting a shift fork with a special surface treatment and ensuring tooth width in accordance with the shorter stroke, durability has been improved.
In addition, the gears use the same tapered shape at the meshing part as the SS 5-speed, which improves shifting feel and enhances the effect of preventing malfunctions such as gear slippage.
There are two types available: one for normal clutches, Takegawa reinforced clutches, and special clutches (5-disc), and one for dry clutches.
If you have a centrifugal clutch, please purchase the manual clutch kit and then choose this kit.
Shift pattern: Return type
R. crankcase cover gasket and crankcase gasket, which are necessary when assembling the transmission, are included.
The SS 5-speed close-ratio transmission kit for Monkey/Gorilla (carburetor models) includes two types of crankcase gaskets: one for 6V and one for 12V.
*For 6V Monkey/Gorilla (Z50J-1300017 to 1805927), since it is an A-type spindle vehicle, it is necessary to change to a B-type spindle.

*If you are using the old special clutch kit (3-disc/4-disc type), you will need to purchase a separate main shaft (00-02-0084).
