Close Ratio Transmission Kit (4-speed) for 12V Monkey, Gorilla, Monkey R/RT/BAJA

Normal missions have very wide gear ratios, which can make them difficult to handle for street driving with custom engines.
To allow more people to experience the benefits and ease of use of close-ratio missions, Takegawa designed this kit to utilize normal parts, achieving an affordable price.
This kit makes gears for 1st, 2nd, and 4th speeds closer to the 3rd speed, making it a close-ratio mission kit. The 3rd speed gear and countershaft use normal parts.
It can be used simultaneously with the Special Clutch Kit (for 4/5/6 speed missions) and the Manual Reinforced Clutch Kit.
*For some Monkey AB27 series vehicles, the case wall thickness near the kickstarter gear on the L crankcase has been made thicker, which may cause interference with the gear.
If interference occurs, case machining, such as grinding down the interfering part, will be necessary.
*For Monkey R (AB22-1000174 to 1011925), please change to the B-type starter (02-04-0011).
*Gaskets are sold separately.
*The tapered processing on the dog part used in Takegawa's 5-speed and 6-speed missions is not present.
