SDH Treatment
The cause of chain elongation is wear between the pins and bushes.
When fine, hard, harmful particles such as sand and dust enter between the pins and bushes, it promotes chain wear, causing vibration and noise, and shortening the chain's lifespan.
In such cases, the SDH treatment developed by D.I.D demonstrates its effectiveness.
SDH treatment forms a very hard film on the surface of the pins, and this film has even harder carbides dispersed within it.
Therefore, it prevents chain wear even if hard foreign particles enter between the pins and bushes from the outside.
Solid Bush
This is a roller chain with excellent wear resistance that uses highly rigid solid bushes with a seamless, smooth surface and excellent roundness.
Solid bushes reduce the barrel-shaped deformation of the bushes that occurs when they are pressed into the link plates, forming an optimal contact bearing surface between the pins and bushes.
