By simply replacing the normal air filter, intake efficiency is improved, and even when installed on a stock engine, power can be increased across all RPM ranges, from low to high. Furthermore, it pairs well with Takegawa's S-Stage bore-up kit 156cc, resolving the intake deficiency of the stock filter and allowing the S-Stage bore-up kit 156cc to unleash its true power. Since the stock air cleaner box is used as is, there are no issues with intake noise or rain, making it suitable for street use just like the stock setup. Takegawa's air filter achieves increased power by having a larger opening and air filter area than stock, and by adopting a filter with higher intake efficiency. When installing only this air filter on a stock Cygnus X (FI), simultaneous installation of a FI CON is not necessary.
