Details:
・This "Big Throttle Body Kit" is for vehicles equipped with a Takegawa sports camshaft along with a Takegawa FI-CON TYPE-e (injection controller), or vehicles equipped with an S-Stage bore up kit.
・By installing this kit, you can achieve engine characteristics that allow for smooth revving and increased output.
・By adopting a newly designed original big throttle body, output performance in the high-rev range is improved, which is not possible with normal throttle body specifications, allowing for engine characteristics that rev smoothly.
・Air filter for big throttle body (with blow-by union): By removing the normal air cleaner box and installing a Takegawa air filter, high intake efficiency suitable for the big throttle body becomes possible. In addition, because it comes with a blow-by union, a hose can be connected to a Takegawa catch tank.
・Takegawa original inlet pipe (for normal cylinder head/cast): This allows for smooth intake from the big throttle body to the normal intake port. The inlet pipe comes with a union that allows for hose connection to the charcoal canister.
・Shroud stay (steel, black painted): The left and right shrouds can be fixed with the same fitting as the genuine part. In addition, the shroud stay allows for the installation of a Takegawa oil cooler, and by purchasing a separate Takegawa dedicated oil cooler kit, the oil cooler can be housed within the shroud.
・To install the oil cooler kit exclusively for vehicles equipped with a Takegawa shroud stay, simultaneous installation of a Takegawa special clutch cover is required. Target engine specifications for the Big Throttle Body Kit:
・If the engine specifications are not as listed below, a built-in map will not be available, and tuning work will be required.
・When installing the Big Throttle Body Kit, simultaneous installation of a Takegawa FI-CON TYPE-e (injection controller) is required, along with the engine specifications below.
