●Difference between other companies' products and SP Takegawa products
Kits sold by other companies to convert from 6V to 12V only convert the lighting to 12V, while the ignition system remains points ignition.
The SP Takegawa Super Street Outer Rotor Kit is a kit that combines C.D.I. ignition and 12V conversion, allowing for stable ignition performance and 12V electrical system at the same time, expanding the range of custom parts selection.
●About kit installation
The pulse generator required for C.D.I. ignition can be stored in the narrow space inside the left crankcase cover without any modification, and the ignition coil and C.D.I. can be bolted directly to the frame by attaching them to the dedicated bracket.
Furthermore, there is no wiring processing required for the electrical conversion; it can be installed with a coupler, and it fits neatly under the seat just like the genuine part.
