■Detailed Description
This is a highly functional rear sets kit that allows you to use a comfortable riding position in a wide range of situations, from street riding to sport riding.
Position changes are made using a 3-position plate that allows the footrest position to be moved, and 2-position left and right pedal arms that allow the toe position to be set during braking and gear changes.
By changing these, you can set your preferred riding position.
●Features of SP Takegawa Rear Sets
Many conventional rear sets prioritize visual appeal, and the combination of complex part shapes often results in the step position protruding too far from the outside of the vehicle.
When the step position moves outward, vehicle maneuverability tends to worsen, and this effect can be significant in small vehicles such as the Monkey.
SP Takegawa designs its rear sets so that the various movable parts and base plates are positioned to maintain an optimal riding position even when the rear sets are installed, allowing them to be mounted on the vehicle without the step position protruding outward.
This enhances the feeling of holding the bike and makes it easier to support the vehicle with your feet.
●All-machined aluminum rear set parts
The machined parts, made from high-rigidity, lightweight aluminum, are highly corrosion-resistant and feature a beautiful color anodized finish.
The master cylinder holder is black anodized and laser-marked with the SP Takegawa logo. All other parts are silver anodized.
The use of these two anodized colors emphasizes the three-dimensional feel of the step part, bringing out the presence of the custom parts when installed on the vehicle.
●Carefully designed footrest
The footrest is meticulously crafted with delicate processing in every detail, resulting in a shape that combines excellent design and grip.
A step slider is installed at the end of the footrest to prevent damage to the asphalt in the event of contact with the road surface during banking.
●Uses interchangeable left and right parts
Even if parts are damaged in a fall, the footrest, pedal arm, and step plate are common to both the left and right sides, so one repair part can be used for both.
This makes it easy to deal with problems that occur during riding, making it recommended for circuit riding.
●Includes backstep-specific stop lamp switch
A stop lamp switch that can be installed on the rear brake arm is included, so you can use it with confidence even when riding on public roads.
●Installation conditions
Vehicles equipped with 10-inch wheels (or SP Takegawa 12-inch wheels) and a 12cm or 16cm long swingarm.
