■Product Description
This is a rearset kit that allows you to choose from three footrest positions.
Wheel hub with damper

Rear disc brake

This rearset kit offers excellent functionality, allowing for a comfortable riding position in a wide range of situations, from street riding to sport riding.
The position can be changed using a 3-position plate that allows the footrest position to be moved, and two positions for the left and right pedal arms to set the toe position for braking and gear changes.
By changing these, you can set your preferred riding position.

・Features of SP Takegawa Rearsets
Conventional rearsets often prioritize visual aspects, and due to the combination of complex part shapes, many products have the step position protruding too far outward from the vehicle. When the step position moves outward, the maneuverability of the vehicle tends to worsen, and this effect can be significant on small vehicles such as the Monkey.
SP Takegawa's rearsets are designed to maintain an optimal riding position even when installed, with all moving parts and base plates arranged so that the step position does not protrude outward from the vehicle. This enhances the sense of holding the vehicle and makes it easier to support the vehicle with your feet.

・All-aluminum machined rearset parts
The machined parts are made from high-rigidity, lightweight aluminum, offering excellent corrosion resistance and a beautiful colored alumite finish.
The master cylinder holder has a black alumite finish and the SP Takegawa logo is laser-marked. All other parts have a silver alumite finish.
By adopting these two colors of alumite and emphasizing the three-dimensional feel of the step area, the presence of the custom parts is enhanced when installed on the vehicle.

・こだわり (Meticulously designed) Footrest
The footrest features intricate and delicate machining, resulting in a meticulously designed shape with excellent design and grip.
A step slider is attached to the end of the footrest to prevent damage to the asphalt in the event of accidental contact with the road surface during banking.
Uses mutually compatible left and right parts: Even if a part is damaged due to a fall, the footrest, pedal arm, and step plate are common to both left and right, so one repair part can be used for both sides.
This makes it easy to deal with problems that occur during riding, making it recommended for circuit riding.

・Rearset-specific stop lamp switch included
A stop lamp switch that can be installed on the rear brake arm is included, allowing you to use it with peace of mind even when riding on public roads.

・Position 1
Street position (approx. 145mm Back / approx. 6mm UP)
In the street position, there are many "STOP & GO" situations due to traffic lights and vehicles, and riding can be prolonged.
Setting to the street position allows for more room for footing when stopped and a more relaxed riding position, preventing it from being too high and easing knee bend, which can reduce fatigue during long rides.
Furthermore, since the left and right pedals can also be adjusted to two positions, setting them to your preferred pedal position allows for an even more comfortable riding position.

・Position 2
Touring position (approx. 155mm Back / approx. 9mm UP)
The touring position is suitable for nimble winding on mountainous areas and passes.
You can enjoy bank angles and speedy cornering that are not possible in street riding on gentle mountain roads.
Since it is not a full-back position, it also reduces fatigue during long touring.

・Position 3
Racing position (approx. 165mm Back / approx. 12mm UP)
Suitable for deep bank angles on road courses and when entering tight corners on kart courses.

【Wheel hub with damper】
By adopting a wheel hub with a built-in large-capacity damper, the load during driving and back torque is significantly reduced.
The damper built into the wheel hub absorbs torque applied to the wheel hub during acceleration and deceleration, and shocks during gear changes, reducing the load on the engine, clutch, and transmission.
Furthermore, the damper reduces the considerable back torque generated by high-output engines customized for power.
Rear brake performance is also improved by converting to disc brakes, providing excellent stopping power.

・Disc rotor hub and damper hub made of die-cast aluminum
By adopting die-cast aluminum, both strength and rigidity are enhanced, while achieving weight reduction! The surface is barrel-polished to enhance the dress-up effect and create a beautiful appearance around the wheels.

・φ150 stainless steel rear disc rotor
Uses stainless steel, which is rust-resistant and highly durable.

・Large-capacity damper rubber adopted
By adopting an original large-capacity damper rubber, the load during driving and back torque is significantly reduced. In addition, highly durable damper rubber with less wear is used.

・Floating mount type caliper bracket
This type fixes the frame and caliper bracket with a torque rod, creating a floating state, which reduces kickback and hopping during braking.

Cannot be installed on Monkey (FI) (AB27-1900001~).
*Vehicles with 10-inch wheels (or SP Takegawa 12-inch wheels) and 12cm or 16cm long swingarms

■Notes
*Exclusively for vehicles equipped with 10-inch wheels or SP Takegawa 12-inch wheels.
*Normal side stands cannot be used.
*SP Takegawa side stand (09-12-035) must be purchased separately.
*Normal kick arm cannot be used.
*Please use SP Takegawa kick starter arm (06-13-0061).
*It is necessary to change to a 12cm or 16cm long swingarm made by SP Takegawa.
*Driven sprockets smaller than 28T cannot be installed.
