This "high throttle pipe" enables a high throttle setup while still using the stock throttle housing.
It allows for approximately 23% higher throttle on Monkey/Gorilla (carbureted models) compared to the stock throttle.
It allows for approximately 10% higher throttle on Monkey (FI) compared to the stock throttle.
The throttle pipe body is made of plastic and features ribs to prevent the rubber grip from slipping or rotating.
The throttle pipe end is a through-type.

Conditions for installing a high throttle
When installing a KEIHIN PC20 carburetor on a CD50 and converting to a high throttle, the throttle holder must be removed.
Since the stock throttle housing and front drum brake lever are integrated, removing them will require a brake lever ASSY.
However, the drum brake lever ASSY. sold by Takegawa cannot be used because it cannot mount the stock drum brake cable.
Furthermore, there are drum brake lever & brake cable sets for other vehicles, but they cannot be securely attached to the brake arm joint on the brake arm section, so they cannot be used.
To install a high throttle, it is necessary to change from a front drum brake to a front disc brake and install a front brake master ASSY.
Takegawa does not sell front disc brake kits for the CD50. Takegawa recommends the "high throttle pipe" that allows for a high throttle setup while keeping the stock throttle housing.
