This adapter allows you to install rearview mirrors regardless of whether their screw diameter is 8mm or 10mm, by converting the screw diameter.
This adapter is compatible with all mirrors except Napoleon Cowling Mirror, Cowling Mirror 2, Cowling Mirror 3, Cowling Mirror 4, and Baron (AP-101/104).
The mounting screw diameter refers to the mirror mounting part on the vehicle side, not the screw diameter on the mirror damper side, which exists on some vehicle models.
The other adapter in the set of two is a spacer for adjusting the left and right heights.
